Nayapalli Rape Case: TI Parade of Prime Accused Complete, Chargesheet in 15 Days

Accelerating probe into the shocking Nayapalli rape case, Commissionerate Police successfully wrapped up the Test Identification (TI) parade for prime accused Sridhar Panda at Jharpada Special Jail.Following the completion of the identification process, senior police officials stated that the investigation is being fast-tracked and a comprehensive chargesheet will be submitted in court within 15 days. To ensure swift justice for the victim, the police will also move an application requesting the court to conduct the trial in a dedicated Fast-Track Court.Sridhar Panda, who faces several grave criminal charges, was earlier apprehended by the police following an encounter. After undergoing a mandatory medical examination, he was remanded to judicial custody in Jharpada Jail. Investigative teams have also arrested two accomplices linked to the crime.Police authorities emphasised that all forensic and procedural steps are being aggressively pursued to build an airtight case, wrap up the investigation promptly, and ensure stringent punishment for those involved.
