Karanjia, October 7: A mega free health camp was organised at the Tato Community Health Centre (CHC) under Karanjia Block in Mayurbhanj district with the message of service and dedication.
The health camp was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in collaboration with Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar, at the premises of Tato CHC as part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, commemorating 25 years of service and dedication in the public life of the Prime Minister.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by Karanjia MLA Padmacharan Haiburu, Hi-Tech Medical College CEO Jyotirmay Panda, Vice-President Manoj Kumar Das, and Panchapira Sub-Collector Dr. Dayasindhu Parida.
Specialist doctors provided consultation and treatment in various departments, including cardiology, orthopaedics and surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, diabetes and hypertension, ophthalmology, ENT, chest and respiratory medicine, dermatology, neurology and dentistry. General health check-up facilities were also available.
The day-long camp witnessed a large turnout, with a total of 2,336 patients receiving medical services and consultations from specialists in different departments.
Former BJP district president Kripasindhu Mahanta, senior leaders Banchhanidhi Pusti and Madan Mohan Mahanta, youth organiser Luna Mishra, Tapas Kumar Das, MP representative Laxmi Jha, Panchapira SDPO Nabakrishna Naik, District Kisan Morcha president Jogendra Mahanta, District Minority Cell president Abdul Latif, and several other prominent persons were present at the programme.
The health camp was successfully coordinated by youth leaders Manoj Mahanta, Khirod Kumar Mahanta, Sanjeeb Panigrahi, Debendra Mahanta, Ajay Kumar Mishra, Padman Behera and Deepak Panigrahi, among others.
