Kutch: In a tragic incident, at least seven people died, and 22 others were injured in a head-on collision between a camper van carrying workers and a truck in the Kutch district of Gujarat.All the victims are workers of Khavda Renewable Energy (RE) Park, located about 30 km from the India-Pakistan Border. The accident took place around 3 am near the Renewable Energy Park.The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the Bolero’s cabin completely crushed, while the truck became trapped underneath the vehicle. People trapped in the wreckage were heard screaming in pain as rescue efforts began.Police personnel deployed at the Aari Park checkpost near the accident site rushed to the spot immediately after the collision. They arranged a crane from a nearby industrial area to rescue the labourers trapped beneath the truck.The injured were subsequently taken to Bhuj Civil Hospital for treatment.
