Ahmedabad, 17/2 (Ao Bureau)Rishabh Pant has reached 11th place in the list of batsmen in the latest World Rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Rishabh Pant has 715 rating points and is the first Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to cross the 700 mark. Former India great captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni reached the best rating score of 662 in his career. Apart from him, Farooq Engineer had 619 marks. Dhoni’s best ranking was 19th. In 1973, Farooq Engineer also reached a career-best ranking of 17th.
Fifties scored for fourth consecutive test
Pant has been in tremendous form since the Australian tour. In the Sydney Test, Pant scored 87 runs in the fourth innings, due to which India was successful in getting this test draw. After this, due to Pant’s unbeaten 89 runs in the fourth innings of the Brisbane Test, India succeeded in achieving a historic victory.
