Bhubaneswar, 17/3 (AO Bureau): The second phase of vaccination is in full swing in the state, as the incidence of coronavirus is on the rise. In the second phase, the elderly and the critically ill are being vaccinated.
Meanwhile, ACS Pradeep Mohapatra has written to the Union Health Secretary to include media representatives in the vaccination. The letter calls for the inclusion of some other categories of frontline fighters in the vaccine. Both print and electronic media workers are demanded to be involved. The letter states that electricity and water supply workers, airports, railways, port staff, shrines, and Lingaraj services will be vaccinated.
He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: “One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure … there are going to be some difficult decisions for government”.
