Getting people’s work done was major reason for joining NDA: Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, 10/9: More than two months after he joined the BJP-led NDA coalition, senior NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that one of the main reasons for the switch from the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi was to get the work of people done.

“It was all about getting the work of people done and fulfilling people’s expectations,” he said addressing a massive rally in Kolhapur after a show of strength.

On 2 July, Ajit Pawar revolted against his uncle and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, and joined the Maharashtra government led by Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde and became the Deputy Chief Minister alongside BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis
