New twist in SHO murder case

Kishanganj, 10/4 (AO Bureau)The police have arrested three accused in the murder of SHO, Town Station in Bihar’s Kishanganj district, for raiding Panthamapada village in West Bengal. Mother-son arrested

A release issued by the headquarters said that an FIR is being registered against the accused named in the SHO murder case under relevant sections. At the same time, 03 criminals involved in the incident were arrested, including the main accused Feroz Alam (father- Inamul Haq), Abujar Alam (father- Inamul Haque) and Sahannur Khatun (husband – Inamul Haque).

It was informed from the Police Headquarters that Purnia IG and Kishanganj SP are currently doing camp at the scene. At the same time, on behalf of the DGP of Bengal Police, the DGP of Bihar Police has been given the assurance of full cooperation in this case.

Significantly, SHO of Kishanganj Town Police Station, Ashwini Kumar along with his team arrived near the Bengal border last night to nab them at a hideout of a gang who was stealing a bike. During this time, the criminals first quarreled with him. Then they attacked him and killed him.

Here, after receiving information about the incident, several big police officers including IG reached the spot and sent the dead body of the deceased SHO Ashwini to Islampur Hospital for post-mortem.
