Odisha Chief Minister will review the work of various departments from May15

Bhubaneswar, 10/4 (AO Bureau)Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has been working tirelessly to keep this statement “We do not believe talk, We believe in work”. On May 29, the government led by Shri Naveen Patnaik marks the second year of its fifth term.

In this regard, the Chief Minister will review the success of the various departments of the government in fulfilling the promises made to the people. The review will continue from May 15 to 25. In a private letter to the members of his cabinet today, the chief minister said the ministers would brief the chief minister on the success of the five key functions of their department. The ministers will also brief the Chief Minister on how the 5T and My Government programs have been implemented in their departments and how it has improved the functioning of their departments and how popular they have become with the department.

“In a democracy, the people are the masters,” he said. “Responsibility is paramount in a democracy. The responsibility that the four and a half crore people in Odisha have given us is to be held accountable for how far we have come in fulfilling the promises we have made to the people and to enhance the dignity of democracy.”

At its first meeting on May 29, 2019, the government, led by Shri Naveen Patnaik, made a policy decision to implement the party’s election manifesto. The special meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held on May 29 to present the achievements of the various departments and inform the people. Even after the 2014 elections, the Cabinet decided to implement the party’s manifesto.
