New Delhi, 21/8: In a big development, the Reservation Bachao Sangharsh Samiti has called for a nationwide Bharat Bandh on August 21, 2024, in response to a Supreme Court ruling that allows sub-categorization within SC/ST reservations. The bandh is gaining support from various social and political organizations, particularly in Rajasthan. Police across several states, especially in Western Uttar Pradesh, are on high alert to maintain law and order. Emergency services will remain operational during the strike.
