Let us know that the Sixth Pay Commission of the state government has recommended to double the salary of the employees. Soon the salary of all the employees can be increased. The commission has submitted a report to CM Captain Amarinder Singh, in which he has demanded to increase the minimum wage of the employees.
According to the money control news, it is recommended to increase the minimum salary of employees from Rs 6950 to Rs 18000 per month. Soon the government can hear good news about this decision. Along with this, many types of allowances are also being asked to increase.
How much will the government’s burden increase?
A spokesman for the CM office said that due to this recommendation, an additional burden of Rs 3500 crore is expected to be incurred every year. The spokesman said that the salary and pension of the employees is expected to increase by an average of 20 per cent.
The finance department of the state government has been informed about this so that it can be kept in the cabinet for further action. The Commission has submitted this report to the government at a time when the state of the state is already under pressure due to Corona.
