New Delhi, 13/5 (AO Bureau):In view of the increasing cases of corona, the UPSC has postponed the civil services pre-exam to be held on 27 June. Now this exam will be conducted on October 10. This exam was scheduled to be held on June 27, 2021. Now this exam will be held on 10 October 2021.
There are 712 vacancies in UPSC Civil Services Exam this year and 110 vacancies in Indian Forest Service Examination. This exam will be conducted at various examination centers in the country. Please tell that last year also due to corona this test was affected. Last year too, the exam had to be postponed. In 2020, the UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam was also postponed from 31 May to 4 October 2020.
This exam takes place in three stages. After pre, mains and interviews, students are selected for the Indian Civil Service. Every year about 2 to 2.5 lakh students take part in the pre exam. About five times the number of seats are called for the mains.
About one third of the students appearing in the Mains exam have the opportunity to appear in the interview. The final merit for civil services is done by combining the numbers of the mains and interviews.
