‘Zero causality’ target achieved: Odisha CM Mohan Majhi

Bhubaneswar, 25/10: In a major development, Cyclone Dana made landfall on the intervening nights of October 24 and 25 between the Bhitarkanika and Dhamra coasts, bringing heavy rains to the coastal districts.

“This process continues till 7:00 a.m., today… Due to vigilant administration and preparedness, there has been no causality. The Government’s target of ‘zero causality’ is achieved,” said Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi.

CM Majhi also said that almost 6 lakh people have been shifted to safer places and nearly 6,000 pregnant women are shifted to health centres.
