Khordha, 26/10: Though cyclone ‘DANA’ has already left Odisha, the situation post cyclone is pathetic. There are many villages seems submerged while thousands of people took shelter at cyclone centers. However, Indian Navy extends helping hand towards cyclone affected people.
Naval Officer in Charge (Odisha) has established a relief camp at Batipada and Talchua for villages affected by Cyclone Dana, including Kanhapur, Bagapatia, Barahipur, Magarkanda, Charigheria, and Satabhaya. Indian Navy providing 9,000 meals and a medical camp in consultation with state agencies. A truck has been mobilized to distribute meals in the affected areas. Over 9000 meals arranged in community kitchen at Batipada and Talchua area one of the most affected areas.Similarly, medical aid to locals over 500 responded.
