On 28th November 2024, a multi-specialty health camp was successfully organized at
Nuagaon village under the CSR initiative of Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL). The
event was inaugurated by Mr. Rabi Mishra, Unit Head of UAIL, in the presence of prominent
dignitaries, including Mr. Vijay Chauhan, Mines Head; Dr. Netranand Nayak, Medical Officer-
in-Charge; BPM, NHM Kashipur; IIC Andirakanch; Dr. Devi Mishra, Medical Officer, UAIL;
and respected village leaders from Nuagaon.
The health camp aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community. A
total of 512 patients from eight nearby villages benefitted from the camp, receiving free
medical consultations and medicines.
The initiative was meticulously organized by the CSR team of Baphlimali Mines, led by Ms.
Niharika Sahoo, CSR Head. This program is a testament to UAIL's unwavering commitment
to community welfare and healthcare enhancement in its operational areas.
Such initiatives reflect UAIL's dedication to improving the quality of life for local communities
and fostering sustainable development in the region.
