Alappuzha: In a tragic incident as many as five MBBS students have been killed in a road accident in Kerala on late Monday night said reports. Reports further said that the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus.According to the information available, the students who died were in the first year. It was raining heavily when the accident took place in Kalarcode area. Three people died on the spot while two others breathed their last in the ambulance while being taken to the hospital.There were a total of seven people in the car, reports further said with regards to the accident in Kerala. The car was overtaking another car when it skid and went on to hit a KSRTC bus that was coming from the opposite direction. The police reached the spot and along with the locals carried out the rescue operations.The two other students have been hospitalized. One among them is critical. The bodies have been recovered and sent vfor postmortem. Further detailed reports awaited.
