BJP topped list with over Rs 2,600 crore in donations for 2023-24, KCR’s party trumped Congress to get Rs 580 crore

New Delhi, 26/12: BJP collected Rs 2,604.74 crore in donations in contributions of Rs 20,000 or above in 2023-24, which was nine times more than what Congress received in the fiscal that saw major Assembly elections and preparations for Lok Sabha polls.

While BJP’s collection through donations from individuals, corporates and electoral trusts were three times more than what it collected in 2022-23, Congress collected Rs 281.38 crore in 2023-24, which was three times more than its collection in the party
