New Delhi, 28/5(Ao Bureau): The 43rd meeting of the GST Council (GST Council) is scheduled to be held from 11 am today. The meeting will be done through video conferencing, which will be headed by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Several issues are likely to be discussed in the GST Council meeting, which is being held after about 8 months. In this meeting, along with reducing the GST rate on goods related to Covid 19 such as medicines, vaccines and medical devices, petrol diesel will also be considered.
Let us know that the meeting of the GST Council is now being held after 7 months. Earlier, the GST Council met in October 2020. The GST Council may have to decide on the fiscal support sought by the states due to the damage caused by the coronavirus epidemic in the meeting to be held on May 28.
