Anganwadi workers to get Rs 1500 and helpers Rs 500 for success of Subhadra scheme

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida today announced that each of the Anganwadi workers will be given Rs 1500 and each helpers Rs 500 for the success of Subhadra yojana. Parida announced this at a special program. Today, Subhadra Yojana’s 1st instalment’s 5th phase money was credited to the accounts of the women beneficiaries. As per reports, today, more than 2 lakh 30 thousand new beneficiaries were given the assistance money. In addition, the number of Subhadra beneficiaries has crossed one crore as of today. The second instalment of Subhadra assistance will be given on the 8th March. Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida appealed women beneficiaries to light ‘Subhadra Deepa’, a lamp for Subhadra, at once on the evening of the 7th March. A door-to-door survey will be conducted to find the beneficiaries deprived of Subhadra benefit.
