Bihar BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul asks Muslims to stay indoors on Holi, sparks controversy

Patna, 10/3: A BJP MLA in Bihar on Monday made an “appeal” to Muslims to “stay indoors” on Holi, which this year falls on a Friday during the holy month of Ramazan, and to “let Hindus celebrate their festival” without any disruptions.

Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul, the MLA from Bisfi assembly constituency in Madhubani district, made these remarks while speaking to reporters at the Vidhan Sabha premises.
