Bhubaneswar: The DFO informed that the elephant that was roaming in the cashew garden near AIIMS Bhubaneswar will be tranquilised. According to information, a team of 30 officials were constantly monitoring the movement of the tusker that had entered into the human habitation. The Divisional Forest Officer Ajit Satpathy (DFO) informed that the elephant will be tranquilised and then left into. The elephant has reportedly entered into the city from the Barunei hills near Khorda. The range officer said that people are being awared about the whereabouts of the elephant using microphones. Reportedly 30 officials of the forest department have been deployed. The forest department is closely monitoring the movement of the tusker. The officials said that, the elephant is expected to retrace its path back to the jungle by evening.
