KIIT University Women’s Cricket Team Qualifies for All India Inter University Championship 2025
Bhubaneswar :The KIIT University Women’s Cricket Team has secured a place in the prestigious All India Inter University Cricket (Women) Championship 2025 following a stellar performance in the East Zone Inter University Cricket (Women) Championship 2024-25. The tournament, organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), was hosted by KIIT – Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, with the support of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) from March 9 to 13, 2025.
On the third day of the championship, KIIT University faced Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya in a crucial match. Demonstrating exceptional skills and teamwork, the KIIT Women’s Cricket Team emerged victorious by a commanding margin of 68 runs. This remarkable win ensured their qualification for the upcoming All India Inter University Cricket (Women) Championship, which will be hosted by Jeppiaar University.
The victory stands as a testament to the team’s relentless hard work, outstanding talent, and unwavering determination.
