New Delhi, 30/12 (AO Bureau): Coronavirus’s new strain has caused havoc all over the world. The number of patients infected with Coronavirus New Strain found in Britain in the country has increased to 20. It is not yet clear who the 13 new patients are. Meanwhile, the central government has increased the ban on flights to and from the United Kingdom by 7 January 2021. First UK flights were banned till 31 December. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave this information.
In an official statement, Hardeep Singh Puri said – ‘In view of the prevailing situation in Britain, the Indian government has decided that all flights coming from Britain to India will be temporarily suspended till 11:59 pm on 7 January 2021. This suspension started at 11.59 pm on 22 December. ‘
Earlier, Puri said that all passengers coming from Britain to India will be tested for RT-PCR and they will have to stay within the 7-day quarantine. He further said that the date of temporary suspension will be reviewed
