Following trap of Smt. Sakuntala Das, CDPO, Dashmantpur Block, Dist-Koraput on 2.5. 2025, for taking bribe Rs.10,000/- from a newly appointed Anganwadi Helper, simultaneous searches were carried out by Vigilance teams at locations connected to Smt. Das and her family members. During searches, the following assets have been unearthed so far:
1) One triple storeyed building with total area of 3300 Sqft. at Kaibalya Nagar, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar.
2) One double storeyed building with total area of 2200 Sqft. at Similiguida, Koraput.
3) One under construction building over plinth area over 2000 Sqft. at Bharatipur, Puri.
4) One home stead plot of area Ac. 0.05 dcml located at Similiguida, Koraput.
5) Cash Rs.47,000/- unearthed from rented residential house of Smt. Das at Dashamantpur, Koraput.
6) Fixed deposits in different Banks worth Rs.22.10 lakhs found.
7) Deposits and transactions in 9 number of Bank accounts of Smt. Das and her spouse are under verification.
8) One four wheeler (Mahindra XUV 500).
Investigation into the case continues.
