Naveen Patnaik Returns to Odisha After Longest Absence in Over Two Decades

Bhubaneswar, 12/7: In a major development, Odisha’s Leader of Opposition and former CM Naveen is set to return to Bhubaneswar today after undergoing a medical procedure for cervical arthritis in Mumbai.

 

He is scheduled to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 12:30 PM.

 

Having departed Bhubaneswar on June 20, this 21-day absence marks Naveen Patnaik’s longest time away from the state capital during his 24-year tenure as Chief Minister and his 1-year current role as Leader of Opposition.

 

A warm welcome awaits him, with BJD leaders, party workers, and supporters from all walks of life expected to gather at the airport and line the route to his residence, Naveen Niwas, to greet him
