New Delhi, 24/7: The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the Bombay High Court’s July 21 judgment wherein the latter acquitted all the 12 convicts in the 2006 Mumbai train blasts case. The apex court has directed that the accused, released from jail, would not be arrested for now.
A bench led by Justice M M Sundresh allowed a plea by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta that the judgement of the High Court would not be treated as a precedent in other pending MCOCA cases.
