Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Temple City Installs New Leadership, Honours Eminent Doctors and CAs

Bhubaneswar,31/7: The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Temple City held its Installation Ceremony on July 31 2025, marking the annual change of leadership and formally inducting the new team of office bearers for the Rotary year 2025–2026, under the inspiring theme “Unite for Good.” The event also featured a special felicitation programme to honour eminent doctors and chartered accountants for their invaluable contribution to society.

Held at Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, the ceremony was graced by esteemed Rotary District Governor Manoj Kumar Tripathy, Chairperson of Inner Wheel District Madhusmita Tripathy, Former Director of AIIMS Padmashri Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Asst. Governor of Rotary Dr. K K Senapati along with Rotarians from various clubs and various other professionals.

Rtn. Pulin Kumar Sahu was formally installed as President of the Club for 2025-26 along with Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sahoo as the Club Secretary. The outgoing President Brig. Dr. PK Sahoo and his team was lauded for their exemplary service and impactful leadership during the past year.

A highlight of the event was the felicitation of 24 doctors and two chartered accountants, who were honoured with mementos and certificates in recognition of their dedication, service, and enduring impact on community welfare. Their commitment to public service and excellence in their respective professions deeply resonated with the Rotary ideals of “Service Above Self”.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Rtn. Manoj Kumar Tripathy emphasized the role of Rotary in fostering a culture of public service. Outgoing President Brig. Dr. PK Sahoo highlighted various activities under his leadership in the year 2024-25. Outgoing Secretary Rtn. Surendra Kumar Panda presented the annual report of the club for the year 2024-25.

The ceremony also witnessed motivational speeches by the Guests, and the unveiling of the club’s souvenir ‘the Dhauli’. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Executive Club Secretary Rtn. Ramesh Chandra Mohanty. Rtn. Siba Prasad Pattanaik presented the attendance statistics as Sergent of the Arm of the Club.
