GOAT football player Lionel Messi is set to tour India for three days, kicking off a number of worldclass activities that will thrill football fans. From 13 to 15 December 2025, Messi will visit the three biggest cities in India, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai to showcase his sublime talents and passion for the game.In Mumbai, Messi will visit a one off ticketed affair at the legendary Wankhede Stadium on December 14, which has hosted India’s 2011 World Cup cricket victory before. The event, organized by Wizcraft, has been sanctioned by the Mumbai Cricket Association, and cricket superstars such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar may make an appearance. There’s even speculation of a friendly cricket match involving Messi and few Indian cricket giants.He will stop over in Kolkata before proceeding to Mumbai, where he’ll be felicitated at Eden Gardens in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The activity will also feature a football clinic for children, the launch of a clinic, and a match called the “GOAT Cup” in his name. Messi’s trip to Kolkata is a revisit to his old stomping grounds, having played a friendly against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium in 2011.Messi’s India tour will end in Delhi, where he’ll engage in additional football-related activities.
