Oval, 2/8: Riding on Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep’s 107-run stand for the third wicket, India reached 189 for three at lunch on the third day of the fifth and final Test match of the Tendulkar-Anderson trophy at The Oval.
Resuming at their overnight score score of 75 for two, Akash (66) who had come in as a nightwatchman registered his first half-century in Test cricket cricket while Jaiswal (85 not out) was on the threshold of another century as India took their lead.
