ADANI DAV Public School observes 79th Independence Day

Dhamra, 16.08.2025: 79th Independence Day was celebrated in Adani DAV Public School on 15th August, 2025 with great joy and pomp. The school was decorated with different types of stylized rangolis, dazzling chalk arts and colourful thermocol designs. Mr Soumya Ranjan Dash and Ms Swagatika Dasmohapatra were the moderators of the programme. The welcome address was given by Mrs Monalisha Mishra. The Honourable Chief Guest, Dr Debashish Mukharjee, CSR Head, Adani Foundation unfurled the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem, Jhanda Geet and Slogan to create patriotic feelings in students. The Chief Guest received the salute from NCC Cadets, Scouts & Guides, Junior Red Cross and different houses. Students presented various activities. A beautiful chorus song was recited to instil patriotic feelings in students. Abhilipsa Biswal and Adyasha Adirupa Bhuyan of class VIII delivered heart-touching speeches about the dedication of freedom fighters. A patriotic dance programme was performed on the theme ‘Operation Sindur’.

 A fancy Dress Competition as well as a costume parade was held on the stage. Most of the students of Tiny Tots Group performed their costume parades and role plays as different freedom fighters. Ms Usashree Behera gave a beautiful speech on the true sense of independence. The Chief Guest, Dr Debashish Mukharjee, CSR Head, Adani Foundation, in His speech, advised all students to shoulder all responsibilities and to develop the country towards excellence. The Guest of Honour, Mr Mrunmaya Kumar Manna, P.O, Adani Foundation motivated all students to follow the instructions of the teachers and to work for the motherland with high spirit. The Principal, Ms Krishnapriya Sarangi encouraged all students to take pledge to try to solve the basic social issues and work for the nation with utmost sincerity and dedication. The Chief Guest along with all valued PTCC members witnessed all house-board activities and inaugurated the School Wall Magazine. The good performers were appreciated and rewarded. Mrs Sanjukta Nahak offered the vote of thanks to all stakeholders. Then sweets distribution was done among all students. Eventually, the programme came to an end with a grand success and it became a memorable moment for all.
