Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government launched the Staff Suggestion Scheme portal for seeking the suggestions of the government employees. This will help in improving the public service delivery and boost the administrative efficiency and governance in the state.Launched by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department of the Government of Odisha, it will give an opportunity to the government employees to express themselves through views, comment, like, dislike and vote on ideas that are shared by their others. They can login using their valid HRMS IDs.The Departmental Evaluation Committee will review the ‘Emerging suggestions’, those with a minimum of 1000 likes. The committee will be constituted of 5-7 senior officers, including one nodal officer of the rank of Joint Secretary.These committees will review suggestions at periodic intervals and if deemed fit then these suggestions will be implemented in the policy making.The best suggestions will receive rewards and tokens of appreciation as a recognition for their contributions. The employees can suggest ideas of all departments and are not limited to their own department.
