Earlier in the day, Phoebe Litchfield stole the show for Australia with a breathtaking 119 off 93 balls, anchoring their innings to a commanding 338 all out, the highest-ever total in a Women’s World Cup semi-final. She found strong support from Ellyse Perry, who struck a composed 77 off 88, as the duo added a massive 155-run stand for the second wicket. Later, Ashleigh Gardner’s quickfire 63 off 45 balls propelled the Southern Stars further ahead, leaving India with a daunting chase.
