Dhamra, 2.12.2025: Adani Foundation successfully organised the Go Sambardhana Utsav 2025, a three-day livestock development campaign held from 27–29 November 2025 across its core and rail corridor Gram Panchayats in Bhadrak district. The initiative aimed at promoting improved cattle management, livestock healthcare, and farmer awareness through expert-led sessions, animal treatment camps, and community outreach activities. The Utsav was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Sunil Kumar Bhuiyan, SDVO–Bhadrak, Shri Nimai Charan Pattnaik, Dr. Srinibash Kar, Shri Kisoriganga Pradhan (BAIF), cattle department officials, and members of the Adani Foundation team.
During the programme, experts emphasised key interventions such as sex-sorted semen for breed improvement, crossbreeding practices, fodder development and perennial grass cultivation, livestock insurance, nutritional and hygienic cattle management, timely deworming and vaccination, and the importance of doorstep veterinary services. Special emphasis was placed on government schemes including Kamadhenu Yojana, Gopalana Yojana, MVU services, and subsidies for fodder cultivation. As part of the Utsav, three animal treatment camps were organised at Narendrapur, the Rail Corridor area, and Bania village, providing critical veterinary care.
Across these camps: Over 350 cattle were treated with free medicines, dewormers, and vaccinations were distributed and Farmers received practical guidance on cattle health management from expert veterinary doctors.
To further support dairy development, 50 cattle farmers received high-quality milk containers. On 29 November at Charampa, more than 75 farmers participated in an awareness meeting, where 20 progressive farmers were felicitated for their contributions and adoption of improved cattle practices. Go Sambardhana Utsav 2025 reaffirmed Adani Foundation’s commitment to strengthening cattle-based livelihoods by integrating veterinary services, scientific interventions, government scheme linkages, and community engagement.
