New Delhi, 16/12:In a relief to Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and five others in the National Herald case, a Delhi court on Tuesday refused to take cognisance of Directorate of Enforcement’s (ED) money laundering chargesheet.
Special Judge (PC Act) Vishal Gogne of the Rouse Avenue Court said the complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) was not maintainable as the case was based on a private complaint filed by Subramanian Swamy, BJP leader, and not a First Information Report (FIR).
