Mumbai: NCP’s Sunetra Pawar was appointed as Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister on Saturday – the first woman to hold the position since the formation of the state 66 years ago.
After assuming the charge, she expressed her feelings on social media, saying she would carry forward the legacy and ideals of her late husband Ajit Pawar, describing his teachings on duty, struggle and commitment to the people as her guiding force.
