Matric Exam From Feb 19; Advanced Security Measures To Prevent Question Paper Leaks

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha is gearing up for the annual 10th class examination, Madhyamika, and State Open School Certificate examinations, scheduled to start from February 19. Over 550,000 students have registered for these exams, which will be held at 3082 examination centres across the State. To ensure the integrity of the examination process, the BSE has implemented a live streaming system at all examination centres, including 322 nodal centres, to monitor activities in real-time. The question papers, printed at state-owned firms, are stored under tight security at the board headquarters in Cuttack, guarded by armed police and equipped with fire safety arrangements. The question papers will be transported to nodal centres in the second week of February and then to examination centres on the day of the exam. Advanced security measures, including digital locks, GPS tracking, and unique serial numbers on question papers, have been implemented to prevent leaks and malpractices.
