Bhubaneswar, 23/9: In a big development, Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) of Motu Police Station in Malkangiri district, Susanta Kumar Sahoo, has been arrested by Bhubaneswar Vigilance on Thursday .He was charged for accepting illegal gratification and possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.The news of his arrest has been informed by Odisha Police using the twitter handle.
According to reports , he was intercepted on Wednesday on NH-16 near office of SP, Khurdha while going from Motu to his native village, Nakhara on an Ertiga SUV car bearing registration No.OD-05-AX-5629.He couldnt give the satisfactory answers to the questions of vigilance regarding unaccounted cash of Rs 2.8 lakhs.
