Bhubaneswar: Odisha Plus 2 exams will commence today. On the first day, there will be MIL paper for Science Stream students. From the 20th, the exams for Arts and Commerce students will commence.There are 1357 exam centers across the state this year. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has said that 4 lakh 1 thousand 632 students from 1908 Higher Secondary Schools will appear the exams.The maximum number of students in Arts is 2 lakh 56 thousand 707, while 1 lakh 14 thousand 363 in Science, 24 thousand 621 in Commerce and 5 thousand 932 in Vocational education will appear the exams. This time, 25 thousand 88 Ex-regular students will appear the exam.The question paper packet will reach by 8:30 am. The candidates will sit in their seats 30 minutes before the exam. The question papers will be distributed to the candidates 5 minutes before the scheduled time.The exam will start at 10 am. Five squads have been set up to prevent malpractice. In addition, two central squad teams have been deployed in each district.A two-tiered check has been made to prevent entry of mobiles and other electronic devices to the exam hall. A total of 211 question papers are available in the hubs under tight security before the exam.
