Two Bodies Recovered From Sabari River, Search On For Missing Family Members

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Disaster Response (ODRF) team has recovered the bodies of two family members from the Sabari river in Koraput district. The duo had gone missing along with the rest of their family while fishing in the Sabari River on February 1.The deceased have been identified as Lalit Pujari (35) and his 4-year-old daughter, Gelhi Pujari of Dandabadi village under Baipariguda police limits in Koraput district.According to reports, the family had gone to the Badrudi hill to catch fish, but they didn’t return, prompting a search operation. Lalit Pujari’s 7-month pregnant wife and 8-year-old daughter are still missing. The ODRAF personnel, fire brigade, police, and locals are searching for the missing family members.
