Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Odisha on a two-day official tour starting March 5, where he is scheduled to attend multiple government programmes in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jatani.According to the official itinerary, Shah will arrive at Bhubaneswar airport on the evening of March 5. His formal engagements will take place on March 6 across key locations in the state.CISF Raising Day Event in Cuttack On the morning of March 6, the Union Home Minister will attend the Raising Day ceremony of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Mundali in Cuttack.The annual event commemorates the foundation of the CISF and includes ceremonial proceedings, official addresses and recognition of personnel.Foundation Stones for NFSU and CFSL in Jatani Later in the day, Shah will lay the foundation stone for the campus of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Jatani. He is also expected to virtually inaugurate the NFSU transit campus.These initiatives aim to strengthen forensic infrastructure and support advancements in criminal investigation and scientific research.Exhibition and Development Projects in BhubaneswarIn Bhubaneswar, Shah will inaugurate the Naveen Nyaya Samhita exhibition at the IDCO Exhibition Ground. The programme will also include the foundation laying and inauguration of projects related to the Cooperation Department and other state departments.Administrative Preparations UnderwayA high-level preparatory meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary has reviewed security and logistical arrangements ahead of the visit.
