Hyderabad, 28/2: At least 12 people were feared dead and several others remained in critical condition following a massive explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit in Vetlapalem, Samalkot Mandal of Kakinada district in Andhra Pradesh.
The blast, which occurred while workers were making firecrackers on a large scale, ignited a huge fire and trapped many inside. Around 20 workers were at the site at the time. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue efforts continue.
