The accident reportedly took place late Friday night near Midnapore in West Bengal.According to allegations by the family, Mohapatra was not rushed to a hospital after the accident. Instead, he was allegedly left on the roadside in a critical condition, which may have led to his death.His nephew claimed that OSRTC officials instructed the co-driver to return with the vehicle rather than ensuring immediate medical assistance to the injured driver. The family has termed the act as “inhuman” and questioned why he was not admitted to a hospital, stating that timely treatment could have saved his life.
