Cuttack: A young woman died after she fell from the third floor in Badambadi area of Cuttack district on Tuesday night. Sources have revealed that the woman fell from the terrace while talking on the phone.On being informed, the police reached the spot and rushed the woman to the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH), where she was declared dead on arrival. The police has also recovered a mobile phone from the side of her body.Reports have informed that the deceased was a native of Jagatsinghpur and was staying in a rented accommodation in Badambadi.Badambadi Police have sent the body for postmortem and have begun an investigation at the scene. A scientific team has also initiated its probe to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.The family of the deceased have urged the police to ascertain whether the death was accidental or involved any other factors.
