West Asia crisis | Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri represents India at UK-led meet on re-opening Strait of Hormuz

New Delhi, 2/4: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Thursday represented India at a UK-led summit of about 30 countries that focused on discussion regarding safe shipping through the Strait of Hormuz amid Iran’s partial blockade of the strategic waterway, severely impacting global oil and gas supplies.

Misri, joining the summit virtually, talked about New Delhi’s stance on safety of international shipping lanes in the region.
