Bhubaneswar: Two minors were injured, one critically, after a crude bomb exploded in Khajapalli village under Kabisuryanagar police station limits in Ganjam district on Monday.The injured children have been identified as 14-year-old Omm Prakash Bhuyan, who sustained critical injuries, and 8-year-old Ganesh Bhuyan, who was also hurt in the blast. Omm Prakash, after initial treatment at a local facility, was shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Brahmapur, while Ganesh is undergoing treatment at Kodala Community Health Centre (CHC).According to reports, the two children were playing cricket in the backyard of their home in the afternoon when they came across an object they mistook for a ball. Upon picking it up, the object exploded, injuring both minors.Upon being informed, Kabisuryanagar police reached the spot and have launched an investigation.
