CM Majhi Highlights Odisha’s Growth Vision During President Murmu’s Rourkela Visit .

Chief Minister addressed the gathering during President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Rourkela, marking the inauguration of major public projects, including the Planetarium, Science Centre, Tribal Museum, and Integrated Command and Control Centre.He described the day as historic for Odisha and expressed gratitude to the President for gracing the occasion.The Chief Minister said Rourkela represents Odisha’s industrial strength, cultural diversity, and sporting excellence. He noted that the newly inaugurated projects will enhance the city’s smart infrastructure, tourism, and educational opportunities. The Rs 48-crore Integrated Command and Control Centre will strengthen urban management and safety, while the Tribal Museum will preserve and promote Odisha’s rich tribal heritage.He emphasised that the government remains committed to honouring Odisha’s heroes, citing the naming of Nirmal Munda Parivesh Path after the freedom fighter. He also highlighted upcoming expansions of Rourkela Airport and Steel Plant, along with the development of industrial corridors connecting Paradip, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, and Rourkela.The Chief Minister reaffirmed Odisha’s role as India’s growth engine through initiatives like Make in OdishaUtkarsha Odisha, and major investment proposals worth Rs 20 lakh crore. He praised students from NIT Rourkela and Parala Maharaja Engineering College for contributing to India’s semiconductor innovation.He concluded by urging citizens to help build a clean, prosperous Rourkela and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Odisha by 2036 and Viksit Bharat by 2047
