Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Saturday extended warm birthday greetings to President Droupadi Murmu on her 68th birthday. In his address, the CM described President Murmu’s journey from a tribal village in Mayurbhanj to the country’s highest constitutional post as a “great inspiration for all women of India.”Marking two years of the state government, CM Majhi expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his presence on the occasion. So far, the government has launched 152 industrial projects worth ₹3.11 lakh crore, creating around 2.5 lakh employment opportunities. Additionally, over 44,000 jobs have been provided in the government sector. Industries are being set up in 29 of the state’s 30 districts. CM Majhi added that in the coming days, Odisha’s youth will no longer need to migrate for work — instead, people from other states will come to Odisha for jobs. This, he said, will help realize the dream of a “Prosperous Odisha by 2036.”
