Rourkela/Kutra: With the aim of promoting education and encouraging meritorious students from rural areas, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of JSW Shiva Cement organized a ceremony at the Primary and High Schools in Khatkulbahal, Kutra Block. During the event, students who excelled in the Matriculation examinations were presented with certificates of appreciation, mementos, and educational materials, accompanied by best wishes for their bright futures. Kutra Block Education Officer Ananta Kumar Nayak attended as the chief guest; he highlighted hard work, discipline, and consistent study as the keys to success and urged students to set ambitious goals in life. Assistant Block Education Officer (ABEO) Niranjan Raut also emphasized the importance of education and inspired students to keep learning and progressing. On this occasion, Sangram Kesari Raut, Alekh Dalai, and Limaroj Lakra from the JSW Shiva Cement CSR team outlined the company’s welfare initiatives in the fields of education, health, and social development. They stated that honoring meritorious students and providing necessary educational materials is part of the company’s social responsibility and that such programs would continue in the future. Speakers at the event remarked that talent is not bound by a lack of resources; with proper guidance and encouragement, students from rural areas can also reach new heights in education. Such ceremonies instill self-confidence in students and motivate them to perform even better. The event was attended by the High School Headmaster, teachers, School Management Committee members, parents, and a large number of students. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the honored students expressed their gratitude to JSW Shiva Cement and the school community, pledging to perform even better in the future.
