New Delhi, 16/7: The Supreme Court on Thursday expressed strong concern over the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) decision to introduce a third language in Class 9, observing that it burdens students already under pressure while preparing for board examination.A bench led by Justice B V Nagarathna suggested that the third language should instead be introduced from Class 6 (middle school) to allow students more time to adapt without adding to the academic stress in higher classes.
