Puri,, 16/7: One person died due to suffocation and scores of others were hospitalised after a stampede-like situation occurred during the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri on Thursday, according to initial reports.
Odisha Police reported that a devotee who fainted was promptly attended to and taken for medical treatment amid the large gathering.
