Bhubaneswar, April 4: Concerns over alleged rash driving by Ama Bus services have resurfaced after a senior police officer was injured in a road accident on Friday morning. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Krushna Chandra Sethi sustained injuries after being hit by an Ama Bus near Bhubaneswar Club.According to reports, the incident occurred while Sethi was on his routine morning cycling session. Eyewitnesses alleged that the bus rammed into him from behind, leaving him injured on the spot.On receiving information, personnel from Capital Police Station rushed to the scene and shifted the injured officer to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable.Meanwhile, Director General of Police visited the hospital and enquired about Sethi’s health condition from the attending doctors.The incident has once again raised questions over the safety and driving standards of Ama Bus services in the capital city.
